Blossom Lake
Blossom Lake is technically in Montana. This 3 mile hike is in the covered woods. Pear Lake is just as the guidebook describes it, a muddy gross pool of stagnent water.
Revett Lake
Revett Lake was suppose to be a gem in the northern idaho wilderness. The easy 2 mile hike had a great reward of a small glacier lake. Scouting for a campsite was an interesting experience due to the amount of vandalism to the wilderness. Many trees were cut down by campers looking for fire wood and other trees were covered with lover's initials. Since it was bear country, we choose to cook by the lake. When it got dark out I got to see the milky way and it was amazing. It was hard to sleep because of all the pine needles and that were falling on the tent making creepy sounds that sound similar to bear noises.
